When you make a transaction which is classed as a Cash Advance, you will be charged more for making that type of transaction.

There are 2 types of charges applied to your account:

1) The interest rate charged on this transaction is usually higher than the rate charged on any retail transactions.

2) A Cash Advance fee.

You can check the rates that are charged on your statement.

If you have a Virgin Atlantic Credit Card you also won’t earn points on any Cash Advance transactions.
