We’re sorry to see you go but you can only close your account if your balance is at zero.

If there is still a balance to pay on your account, you'll need to pay the balance and any outstanding interest due first. You can do this in the Virgin Money Credit Card app. See our guide on making payments in the mobile app here.

If your balance is in credit we'll need to refund this amount to you before the account can be closed. You can request to send the credit balance to an account of your choice via the app. See our guide on how to request a refund of a credit balance here.

Please note if you use this credit card to pay for any subscriptions (such as magazines, TV packages or insurances), you need to contact them to change your payment details to avoid any unnecessary charges. These payments will no longer be processed once your account is closed.
