You can cancel a Direct Debit here. Please allow up to 5 working days for the cancellation to take effect.
If your Direct Debit is due within 5 days please contact us. The Direct Debit process is likely to have started, which means we have probably already requested the funds from your bank.
If you cancel a Direct Debit due within 5 days at your bank, we will no longer have permission to take the funds. The Direct Debit request will be returned unpaid, you will need to ensure you make a payment for at least the minimum amount requested on your statement and tell us that you have cancelled the Direct Debit.
Important - if you cancel your Direct Debit at your bank and you don't inform us, we will still attempt to claim the funds.
If you have a Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic Credit Card and your Direct Debit is returned unpaid and you fail to make the minimum payment required you will incur a late fee and will also lose any promotional rates.
