You can opt out of the increase to your interest rates if you're unhappy, but you won’t be able to use your Virgin Money Credit Card anymore. Your interest will stay as it is, and you’ll need to pay at least your minimum payment each month until you’ve cleared your balance. When your account balance is zero we will automatically close your account.

To opt out of the increase, you'll need to tell us within 60 days of receiving the email or letter from us. The quickest and easiest way to opt out is by completing our online form

If you have balances with promotional rates on your account and you continue to make your minimum payments on time, we won’t apply your new rates until the promotion ends. To find out when your promotional rate is due to end, check out our guide.

If you choose to opt out and you've used your Virgin Money Credit Card to pay for monthly or annual subscriptions (such as magazines, TV packages or insurances) these payments will continue to be taken. If you want to stop them, please get in touch with the companies direct to cancel the subscription or make alternative arrangements to pay them. If you do not cancel these payments you may incur interest and charges at your existing rates.
