Yes, you are able to make a balance transfer to store cards that have a Visa or MasterCard logo to a Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic Credit Card. If your store card does not display the Visa / MasterCard logo the balance transfer request will not be processed.
How to do a balance transfer via the app
Just tap the ‘Payments’ icon and follow the instructions. Read the ‘Important information’ carefully before you complete the transfer.
To complete the transfer, you'll need your password. This will be at least 8 characters chosen from 3 or more of these categories: numbers, upper case letters, lower case letters and special characters (such as *!@?).
Forgotten your password? If you are using fingerprint or face ID, log out of the app and open it back up again. Before you login, click the "Forgot" button at the bottom left and follow the steps to reset your details. You will need your Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic Credit Card handy. If you don't have your card contact us.
Please check your transactions to make sure your balance transfer request has been completed as expected. If you have frozen your card your balance transfer won't be approved.
